I have fond memories as a child of watching Yogi Bear on TV - he was known as being 'smarter than the average bear' but his pic-a-nic stealing antics always seemed to get him in so much trouble with Mr Ranger Smith!
Having watched some of the old episodes on TV, the boys were keen to go and see the movie Yogi Bear whilst it was screening in town and before the school holidays come to an end. Today was the day!
Overview
Jellystone Park has become a losing business and with Mayor Brown deciding to close the Park and sell off the land, not only will families no longer be able to visit and experience this natural wonderland BUT Yogi Bear & Boo Boo will no longer have a home!
After an initial attempt to raise sufficient funds to keep the park open goes terribly wrong, Yogi Bear & Boo Boo partner up with Ranger Smith to try and save Jellystone Park forever!
So . . . what did we think of it? Well - we thoroughly enjoyed it! Adam especially thought so many parts of it were quite funny! It's definitely a thumbs up for us!
On the homefront - well - it's been more of the same here! We've picked the last of our Apricots - another 4kg - along with 5kg of Tomatoes, 5 Zucchini and 3 punnets of Strawberries too! One beautiful batch of Apricot Jam is cooling on the bench and I'll make another one up in the morning too! I think in total we've picked about 12 -13kg of Apricots from our tree this year, that's not including those that we've just picked and eaten whilst we've been outside! Mmm - yum! Gotta love this time of the year!
