We've had the TV on all day yesterday & today watching the non-stop coverage of the Queensland Flood Disaster and we still can't believe what the people of Queensland have been enduring!
For my international readers, you can read all about the Queensland Flood Disaster here - at least 75% of the State has been declared a natural disaster area and flood waters are continuing to surge into Brisbane and are expected to peak in the morning!
My heart goes out to all those affected . . . lives have been lost, loved ones are still missing, thousands have been evacuated and the devastation is continuing to grow!
To those of you who have emailed with concern for myself & my family, thank-you . . . we live in Victoria - one of the southern States of Australia BUT despite the distance, what we are watching & hearing about our fellow Australian's up north is emotionally affecting us all!
