Today I thought I would share my favourite page I created with this month's 'ScrappIt Now' kit - I love the simplicity of this one!
I started with a hand-stitched border which I created myself from a pattern paper I liked and then made my own template - it's not exactly the same, but close enough!
I then simply matted my large photo and added both it and the smaller on to the page before inking all the edges in Pinecone brown.
I punched a heap of blossoms, added KaiserCraft Pearl centres and then scattered them across my page before added a few hand stitched leaves as well.
After adding my title and journaling, I then cut two butterfly images from the pattern paper, folded each one in half and then hand stitched them onto my page before adding the stitched antennae details with pearl ends.
So sweet!
In other news, well, today is Longford Scrappers and we are having a Cuttlebug Play Day, so it's sure to be another fun-filled day with lots of sharing, laughter and chatter too! Actually, I'd better get busy and gather the last of my supplies!
Until next time,
