We had a fantstic day at Longford Scrappers this week playing with the Cuttlebug and I thought I would share these cute greeting cards that not only feature some embossed cardstock from the Cuttlebug BUT also some of the very cute Jillibean Soup pattern paper from the 'ScrappIt Now' kit!
The 'hill' cardstock has been embossed with a script embossing plate and then I added a little hand stitched detail to it as well.
The alphabet along the bottom is some printed twill and I added a couple of hand stitched lines at the top and bottom for a little visual interest as well.
Before attaching my trees, I added some buttons to some of them by hand stitching them in place.
As you can see, I've done some layering with the trees too - by attaching some flat against the background whilst others are raised a little with some dimensional adhesive.
On the homefront, well - things sure have been busy these past few days! Thursday night saw me off doing my St John First Aid, Friday night saw James at his very first sleepover at a friends' house - he had a wonderful time and it was great preparation for school camp which is coming up next month too as he's not slept away from home a great deal. Today saw Adam off to a party and us busy out in the garden! Phew! What a weekend!
Until next time,
