Another creation using the 'ScrappIt Now' kit - this one a page about our eldest son and the fact he is now 10! Exactly when did that happen? *grin* It's amazing how when your kids are younger, having them turn 10 seems such a long way off BUT how wrong that turns out to be - time has a way of just slipping by doesn't it?
I decided to take a different approach with the journaling spots on this page and as you can see, none of them actually have any journaling on them - they act purely as accents to my page design!
As you can see from the close-up images, I've also added some layering to the circles too - some are adhered directly onto my page, whilst others have been attached with a little foam tape!
Oh - one other thing too - did you notice that I actually used '10' buttons too!
In other news, today I'm off to an 'Anaphylaxis' training day - it's one criteria I need to have if I'm going to put my name down for Relief Teaching next year. I've toiled with the idea of getting back into the Early Childhood Profession for quite some time and I think now that the boys are older, the timing is nearly right. Tomorrow night will actually see me half way through a 'St John First Aid' course too which is another requirement I need, along with a 'Working With Children' so I guess I'll just see where things take me after that!
Until next time,
