As I mentioned earlier in the week, we're off to a Masquerade Ball tonight and the host is none other than my dear friend Donna from High School!
Here's the little project I have been working on for her - a 'Fabulously 40' Guest Book Album!
I started off with a chipboard 'Sara Binder' which I decorated and then added a heap of white Bazzill pages to. The Binder also came with some pocket sleeves which I have left in the back so that she can add a collection of photos after her 'Big Night'.
As you can see, I've also created a space inside the front cover for her to add a photo of herself - complete with all her make-up and masquerade mask as well!
The flowers were stamped before having a little hand stitched detail added to each one and a few KaiserCraft pearls as well!
I hope she likes it! Happy 40th Birthday Donna!
In other news, I overlooked mentioning in Wednesday's post that we had our Angora Goat - 'Nanny Girl' - put down. She had a skin cancer on her nose that had become quite severe and because of her age I decided it was better that we be kind to her and just have her to sleep. Whilst I kind of guessed that was how things might end up when I called the vet to come out earlier in the day, I still felt somewhat flat afterwards. At least she is no longer suffering . . .
