I've missed a couple of Sky Watch contributions BUT I thought I would share one this week with a photo I took earlier tonight of the sun setting in a somewhat smokey sky!
As you can see the very bottom of the sun is just finding it's way clear of the smokiness to shine a little more brightly!
On the homefront, James di really well at the Inter School Sports today - he was in the 4 x 50m Freestyle Relay and whilst the team finished in 5th position, James was the first in his team to swim and actually completed his leg of the race in 3rd position! Whilst totally out of breath at the end, he said he was really pleased with how he'd swam! As you can imagine we were too!
The boys also had their very last game of the Under 11's Cricket tonight too - their team did lose BUT James inparticular had a great game - he remained 6 not out, was involved in running out a member of the other team AND he also took a caught & bowled himself! He told us tonight "Gee I'm having a good week aren't I?" *grin*
