I always find Sympathy Cards more of a challenge to make than other card - they can't be too over the top with lots of embellishments BUT they also need to have a bit of 'substance' to them to at the same time - if you know what I mean.
None-the-less, here's one I needed and finished early last week and I just didn't get around to sharing it here on my blog:

I''ve used 'Daisy Bucket Designs' pattern paper, one of my Autumn Leaves Clear Stamps, ColorBox Chalk Ink, Blossoms, Brads, 'Pioneer' Letter Stickers and a little hand stitching with DMC Embroidery Thread.

Whilst on the subject of Sympathy Cards . . . I thought I would share this 'thank-you' verse that fellow Longford Scrapper - Kaye, recently received and sent through to me - I thought it was just beautiful!
Perhaps you sent a lovely card,
Or sat quietly in a chair;
Perhaps you sent beautiful flowers,
If so, we saw them there.
Perhaps you sent or spoke kind words
As any friend could say;
Perhaps you were not there at all
Just thought of us that day.
Whatever you did to console the heart
We thank you so much, whatever the part.
Until next time . . .
