Today I wanted to share a website link that I received via email from Louise, a fellow scrapbooking friend
This is a newly formed website that honours a family's loss of their son Caleb to Meningococcal Disease in 2002, whilst at the same providing a wealth of information about the disease and showcasing the endeavours of the foundation itself.
I can't begin to imagine the pain and anguish that this family must have endured in those short 17 hours that the disease took to claim their son's life . . .
As we head into the meningococcal risk season here in Australia, I urge you to visit The Caleb Thorburn Foundation, take a moment to read up on the disease and it's symptoms AND please pass this website link on to you family & friends as well.
