I know I've showed you a few of my little 'Collections' houses that I've done in the past - the 'Little Row of 6 Houses' and the one that features on a 'New House Card' but this time I thought I would try something a little different and try my hand at one of the 'Collections' Grand Houses.
This one is featuring on the cover of my 'ABCs of Home' Mini Album that I'm going to create. I had hoped to share the whole 8 x 8 page but the 'ABC' letters are still a little wet, so I'll just have to do that tomorrow . . . in the meantime, I can share some pics of the house with you!
The pattern papers are from a 'Hot Off The Press' booklet of papers that I won in a competition years ago and that I've had sitting around not being used - *grin*.
The clock face is actually from an old men's watch that I pulled apart and added a few KaiserCraft Pearls to along with a little gold pinwheel in the very centre.
The window frame is double mounted with foam tape, giving the whole thing a wonderful 3D look and I added more of the KaiserCraft Pearls to the blossom centres as well. The 'Cherish', 'Treasure' and 'Memories' words were all taken from a 'Collections' word strip which I cut apart, glued each individual one to a small piece of black chipboard, cut out and then inked the edges before attaching to the window frame!
I promise . . . I'll be back tomorrow to share the whole 8 x 8 page in full . . . right now though, I'm heading outside to do a little gardening - *grin*
Until next time . . .
