Well, Adam attended his Orientation Day at school today (until 12.30pm) and came home utterly exhausted - *grin* - he had such a wonderful time and I must say he looked quite the part this morning going off with his 'new' school hat on too! I still find it hard to believe that he's off to school in less than 2 months - goodness, time can fly!
On the scrapping front I've been busy helping Scrappit bring out a new kit line - Party Favours - just perfect to use for kids parties inplace of the traditional lolly bags that all the kids usually receive at the end of the party. Oh and there's also one in there especially for Christmas too - such a cute little Reindeer!
Here's a couple of my favourites BUT click on the link above to see the full range, descriptions and pricing -
Some of you whom I met at Paperific would know that we've had these kits in the pipeline following my discussions with you throughout that weekend. In each kit you will get everything you need to make a number of the bags, as well as a 'Step-By-Step Instruction Sheet'. All you will need to add will be the adhesive, some chalks or inks, maybe some letter stickers or pen doodling and a little creative licence!
They are not only very simple and quick to put together but of course if they are to be used for a child's party, what's stopping you getting the kids involved in making them for their guests OR even having the guests actually make their own! Kids will just love these!
Oh - and before I sign off for today - my Longford Scrappers section was updated last week to outline what we'll be doing this week at our local scrapbooking day . . . if you haven't had a look but intend on coming along, make sure you check what supplies you will need to bring!
Until next time . . .
