Well . . . spring has sprung and what beautiful weather we are going to enjoy for the day too - infact it has been absolutely perfect the last couple of days which indicated that spring was just around the corner.
This would have to be my most favourite time of the year . . . I love the warmer weather and the abundance of flowers that now appear in our garden. It's such a beautiful time of the year and it is clearly evident that our native birds love it too! Whilst our garden is one full of Australian Natives (with a few roses and bulbs thrown in here and there for good measure) my parent's garden is of a completely different style and full of such variety and colour, that I couldn't resist capturing some of my favourite plants from their garden in this page.
Gotta love the little ant on the single flower - I didn't even realise it was there until I looked at the photos on the computer!
We had our local scrapbooking day yesterday - so much fun! I did a workshop using Shrinky Dinks which although 'old hat' for many scrapbookers, was something that my girls hadn't had the chance to play with. It was clearly evident, by the amount the oven was used throughout the day & the amount of Shrinky Dinks that I've ordered for them, that the girls had a ball! Let's hope our next workshop is equally successful - it will have a fabric theme - more details will be emailed to you all soon . . . thanks for a great day everyone!
Finally . . . some exciting news too . . . Scrappit is opening their warehouse today! Congratulations Jan! Hope all goes well for you! I'm busy at the moment working on something for the warehouse which I won't say too much about at the moment BUT I will say that I am having so much fun playing with all the goodies that are spread all over my 'creative space' at the moment - LOL!
Have a great day everyone!
