Well . . . I've kind of gotten a little side tracked during the school holidays and tried to keep the boys occupied - visits to the park, friends over & visiting friends, special lucnheons/picnics, visiting the grandparents and good old fashion playing outside in the sunshine . . . thankfully, we have had a fair bit of that.
I've actually been trying to get control over my veggie garden once more and I think getting a trailer load of old chicken manure from my grandparents old poultry farm has certainly inspired me. I used up my first load on my citrus, pear, cherry and stone fruit trees and also spread some over my extensive strawberry and raspberry beds . . . I got out there and dug up all my strawberry plants and moved them on into their new bed and after only 5 days I can already see that they are thriving. Just need to make sure I keep my eye on them now and keep them going strong - that's my problem . . . I start off with good intentions and then everything slides - LOL
On the scrapping front, I've been working my way through my June CLUB Scrappit products . . . I simply loved working with the Fancy Pants papers . . . everything just complimented one another so perfectly!
Actually . . . this one has soooooooooo seriously bugged me . . . I just couldn't get all the elements to come together BUT finally I have it finished and another journaling aspect that I can delete from my notebook :)
OK - I've got two mouths here who are begging for some food, so I had better go organise something before they start helping themselves to everything I don't want them to have - LOL
Enjoy!
