Well - it's time for another online class at Scrappit - coming up on the 17th February - and so I have been busy organising my project - I've included an image below . . .
It's quite easy to make, with pockets and plenty of space for photos, journaling and little keepsakes too - AND all made from paper bags!
On a family note . . . James started Grade One yesterday and was quite eager to get back with his friends . . . it just doesn't seem like any time ago that he was starting his first day of Prep - where has the time gone? Adam had his interview at Pre-School this morning and will attend for a 2 hour session next week and then for 2 1/2 hours a week thereafter. Being a May 1st baby means that he'll be the oldest in his group but he is really looking forward to it now. A month or two ago he was still a little hesitant BUT not now!
Seeing my boys getting older has made me reflect on how quickly time gets away. Before we look around our babies are babies no more, our toddlers are getting into mischief as they discover their world, our pre-schoolers are finding their place in their social environment and our school children are away from us for such longer periods & being exposed to so many more outside influences that I find it really scary if I stop and think about it too much. Time passes by just way to quickly - infact I can remember my grand-father saying "Wait until you have children - then you will see how quickly time does pass" . . . how very true are his words?
Finally - a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my sister-in-law KELLIE today . . . here's hoping your day & the year ahead is full of much love, happiness and success. Enjoy your party on the weekend Kel - so sorry we won't be there to celebrate your 30th with you BUT we will be thinking of you!
