It seems that the New Year always instils in people the need to do something different, to set goals or to make some type of change in their life that is going to make them happier in some way. My goal this year is 'Organisation' . . . both organisation in my home as well as in my life generally - you know the type of thing . . . clean out those cupboards, donate those unwanted goods, eat more healthier by 'organising' meals, do more exercise, get those deadlines met on time and so the list goes on.
I've always had a diary but there are times where I haven't been using it 100% and that is when I seem to run into trouble . . . "Oh no . . . I missed sending that card" - by regularly recording AND checking everything in my diary on a DAILY basis will mean that I won't miss that important birthday, I will meet all my deadlines on time without that last minute rush needing to take place and I will have my house AND family looking loved & cared for.
Speaking of deadlines . . . I'm still working with the gorgeous products from the upcoming release of the January CLUB Scrappit BUT decided to take a little 'time out' and do this page using one of the November Scrappitpacks that I hadn't had the chance to use up until now. The photo was taken in complete darkness using the 'nightshot' function on our Sony DSCF717 - just love the results AND no photo editing either!
Actually, when I look back on the photos I'd taken last year, I see that there are many individual shots and not so many of the 'Family' or 'Together' shots . . . something I am planning on rectifying this year I can assure you!
I have been inspired by Allyson in my POS group and after signing up for the group's calender challenge (that I so terribly failed last year - LMAO) I aim to complete a monthly snapshot page of the boys together as the year goes along. Such a wonderful way to see their growth and also get those much needed 'Family' photos! Thanks so much for the inpiration Allyson!
