Once every fortnight on a Thursday, I hold a scrapbooking day in my local community. Sometimes we get together and work on a special project or class, whilst at other times, we just leave it open to scrap whatever and however you want to. It's all about getting together with like-minded people, sharing ideas & gaining inspiration and of course having lots of fun at the same time!
Time: 9.30am - 3.30pm (although rock-up whenever you like)
Cost: $5 per person, which covers the cost of the building hire as well as 'bottomless' tea/coffee
Lunch: We each bring along something for a shared luncheon too! We certainly have some very talented chefs amongst us!
For further details and the location of where we all get together, please don't hesitate to send me an email

'A Slice of Cake' or UFO's
The 'A Slice of Cake' project is a Kaszazz one that Jan will so very kindly show us and you will need to bring along the following supplies:
- 3 sheets each of 2 co-ordinating Bazzill cardstock colours (perhaps think of the 'theme' of your cake when deciding on the colours - ie. Christmas, Birthday, Anniversary, etc.)
- 120cm of 1/2 inch wide ribbon to tie your cake slices together
- 150cm of 1/8 inch wide ribbon to decorate each slice of cake
- Flower Punches and/or Blossoms
- Cardboard (to trace the template onto)
Jan will bring along the stamps which we'll also use to decorate our cake slices too!
NOTE: If you prefer, you may like to make just one slice of cake so that you know how to do it, and make the full project at another time from the instructions that Jan will give you on Thursday.
Of course, if you'd prefer, you are more than welcome to work on any UFO's - Un Finished Objects that you might have as well!
LUNCHEON CUISINE - Soups & Entrees - Jan & I will bring soups, so please feel free to bring along an Entree!

Embellished ATC - Artist Trading Card
Whether you decide to feature this ATC - Artist Trading Card, on a Greeting Card, Mini Album OR just frame it as a piece of creative art itself; I guarantee that you will have fun putting it together!
Much of the detail of this card is lost in the photography but it does look more lovely in real life - so, what will you need to bring? Well - first of all - decide on a colour and then try to gather as many supplies as possible in that colour group. I purposely chose white so that I didn't have to colour the texture products I added to the background, but I'll leave that choice up to you!
- Gesso, Paper Perfect and Flocking Powder - only bring these if you have them already - I'll have mine and there will be 'plenty' to share!
- Beads, Pearls, Gems, Micro Beads, Wire, Beads
- Chipboard
- Dimensional Magic or Glossy Accents
- An ATC - Artist Trading Card OR Playing Card which measures 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches
