LONGFORD SCRAPPERS

Once every fortnight on a Thursday, I hold a scrapbooking day in my local community.  Sometimes we get together and work on a special project or class, whilst at other times, we just leave it open to scrap whatever and however you want to.  It's all about getting together with like-minded people, sharing ideas & gaining inspiration and of course having lots of fun at the same time!

Time:   9.30am - 3.30pm (although rock-up whenever you like)

Cost:   $6 per person, which covers the cost of the building hire, tea/coffee and a $1 contribution to our birthday/gift giving kitty!

Lunch:    We each bring along something for a shared luncheon - Yum!

Leanne is going to visit Longford Scrappers today at 12.30pm for a 'Stampin Up' demonstration . . . so this will be a great opportunity to see some stamps in use and learn a few techniques as well!

If you think you might like to invest in some great quality stamps - I know I probably will, you'd better start saving your $'s now - *grin*

Bring along your own project/s to work on for the morning session!

Oh - and we'll have an early shared luncheon as usual!

The very lovely Janet is going to show us how to make a cute little Post It Note Holder.

Here's the materials you will need to bring along:

• 1 Pad of sticky post it notes. The ones Janet  used are 76 mm x 76 mm in a pad about 1 cm thick which seems to be the standard size
• 2 pieces of thick cardboard 8 cm x 8 cm (pizza box is perfect for this)

• 2 pieces of patterned paper cut into the following sizes: (can be 2 6x12 size pieces if you like as you wont use a whole sheet)

• A good strong liquid adhesive

• Double sided tape
• Pencil, Ruler, Scissors
• Ribbon
• A frame of some sort either metal, chipboard, foam, card
• A small photo for your frame
